How does the Quiver Club work?

A process as simple as paddling out.



01   Choose your membership

02   Sign up
Quick registration at the school. We sign the membership agreement and guide you through the use of the facilities.
 
 
03   Arrive and surf
Show up at the school whenever you want. Open your locker, grab your board (or the ideal one for the day), and hit the water.
 
 
04   Return and repeat
When you get out of the water, return the board. The gear stays at the school; we take care of all the maintenance and setup.

What is the Quiver Club?

It is a monthly subscription model that provides premium water sports equipment and full access to our facilities. For a flat rate, you can access an extensive catalog of boards without making major initial investments. The minimum contract duration is 3 months.

How do I cancel or modify my subscription tier?

If you decide to cancel your membership before fulfilling the mandatory 3-month period, you must settle the remaining fees for that period. Once the first 3 months have passed, you can cancel your subscription at any time (keeping in mind that the current month will be billed in full). If you wish to change your tier, you can request a modification in your contract by paying the corresponding price difference.

Can I take the board away from Las Canteras?

Yes, of course. You have total freedom to take the gear to any spot on the island. Keep in mind that gear use is on a daily basis, so it must be returned at the end of the day strictly respecting the school's opening and closing hours. Board reservations can be made up to 24 hours in advance.

What happens if I damage or break a board?

Cracks, dings, or damage to the equipment are not covered by the monthly subscription. Upon signing your membership, you will receive a detailed appendix with the repair price list according to the level of damage (Penalty Categories: XS: €40 | S: €60 | M: €100 | L: €150 | XL: €200 | XXL: >€400 with a deductible). Regular wear and tear from proper use is not penalized. Additionally, we won't leave you stranded: while we repair the damaged board, you can immediately pick up another one from the quiver.

How does the security deposit work?

The deposit is managed 100% digitally through the secure platform Swikly. The amount varies depending on your membership tier and is cumulative per item. It is important to highlight that the money **is neither blocked nor charged** to your bank account at registration, so it does not affect your card's credit limit. American Express, Diners Club, Visa Electron, or prepaid cards are not accepted.

Does it include surf lessons or other benefits?

Guided lessons are not included in the club fees. However, as an active member of the Quiver Club, you directly get a **special 10% discount** on all courses and training programs taught by Oceanside (excluding the Eco Voucher). Additionally, we offer optional add-ons such as in-water photo/video services, surf guiding, and accommodation options.

Are the boards completely new?

We have some brand-new units, although most of the catalog consists of used boards in optimal condition. The quiver is renewed periodically, and each board is meticulously checked, waxed, and tuned before each session to ensure excellent performance.

Is it suitable for tourists or short stays?

It is an ideal solution. If you are visiting Gran Canaria for a season or a long stay and want to surf regularly without going through the stress and cost of checking your own surfboards on the plane, the Quiver Club provides the perfect infrastructure. You can check availability directly with our team.

How do I complete the payment process?

The first fee will be paid by card, which can be done directly on the WEBSITE or at our facilities at Calle Almansa Nº 14 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Once completed, we will send you the link to make the deposit for the chosen board (SWIKLY) and information regarding the payment system via Bank Direct Debit (SEPA).

Please note that, in order to streamline the management of your subscriptions, the collection of subsequent fees will be carried out exclusively via direct debit.

This procedure complies with the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) regulations, ensuring maximum security and transparency in your transactions. To process payments, it is essential that the account holder authorizes the charge by signing a Direct Debit Order or SEPA Mandate.

  1. Document dispatch: You will receive the official document (SEPA Mandate) via email with our entity's details.
  2. Completion: You must fill in your personal details and account number (IBAN).
  3. Signature and return: The document must be signed by the account holder. Once signed, you must send it back to us (scanned via email or through our platform) to activate your subscription.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we guarantee that your banking details will be treated with absolute confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of collecting fees for the contracted services.

 

How does SWIKLY work?

To avoid all the limitations inherent to traditional practices, Swikly has invented the swik as an alternative to the deposit check. A swik is a banking transaction that secures a rental or reservation with an online deposit.

A swik is created from a credit card imprint that the customer enters into a secure form. It can be secured online for a few hours or up to several months, and the secured amounts are neither blocked nor charged. Credit card limits are not affected by securing a swik.

Swikly accepts all bank cards except:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club International
  • Visa Electron
  • Prepaid cards
  • Cards requiring systematic authorization

Unfortunately, these bank cards do not allow post-debit or online transactions, making them unsuitable for depositing a swik.
