We manage and optimize the product's life cycle, saving customers the hassle of dealing with the second-hand market.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I OVERUSE MY EQUIPMENT?

If the equipment (surfboard) is returned showing signs of excessive wear (including sun exposure/yellowing, deep compressions in the foot placement area, transport without a protective cover, or use under extreme circumstances), penalties for improper use shall apply:

Chilled (Noticeable wear) → €49.00
Brutal (Heavy damage due to neglect) → €99.00

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

  • If it is under 6 months, you must settle the remaining fees.
  • After 6 months, you can cancel your subscription at any time, no questions asked.
  • Return the product and pay a termination fee of €49.
  • Once the product is received, the contract ends. Please note that any month already started is due in full.

 

CAN I BUY THE PRODUCT AT ANY POINT?

Of course. After six months, subscribers can purchase the product at a discounted price. The discount is based on the product category and is calculated as follows:

  • Price (new) – % discount (according to product category) – 6 months of subscription fees.

 

WHAT ABOUT RENEWAL?

When new collections are released, subscribers are contacted to review the new catalog. They can confirm their current selections or make changes.

  • The next product is shipped, and the customer returns the current product upon receiving the new one.
  • The shipment of the next product starts a new contract with a six-month commitment.
  • The receipt of the current product by FRS concludes the contract.
  • Contract renewal is free of charge.

 

CAN I SWITCH PRODUCTS DURING MY SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes, of course! And even during the first 6 months, you can swap the items in your contracts.

  • The swap will incur an additional fee of €79 and will initiate a new 6-month contract.
  • Users who use their gear intensively should swap regularly to avoid heavy usage penalties at the end of the contract.
  • Beginner packs offer SWAPS at a reduced price of €39.

 

WHAT ABOUT DAMAGE?

In case of damage, the subscriber can:

  • Declare the damage and contact Quiver Safe assistance.
  • Choose not to declare the damage and repair it themselves.
  • Declaration: If the subscriber wishes to switch to another model in better condition, they can initiate a swap. This will start a new contract with a six-month commitment. The damaged product must be returned, and a penalty estimate will be provided before billing.
  • No declaration and self-repair: Upon receiving the product at the end of the contract, an evaluation is carried out, and any potential penalties are presented to the subscriber prior to billing.

 

WHAT ABOUT PENALTIES?

FRS applies a penalty system that integrates both the cost of repairs and the loss of value.

  • There are no penalties if the product shows normal wear and tear and requires no repairs.
  • Penalties will apply if the product is used intensively or is damaged/not properly repaired.
  • If the subscriber disputes the penalty, they may choose to purchase the product even within the 6-month period, providing photo and video evidence of the damage.

HOW DOES SWIKLY WORK?

To avoid all the limitations inherent to traditional practices, Swikly has invented the swik as an alternative to the deposit check. A swik is a banking transaction that secures a rental or reservation with an online deposit.


A swik is created from a credit card imprint that the customer enters into a secure form. It can be secured online for a few hours or up to several months, and the secured amounts are neither blocked nor charged. Credit card limits are not affected by securing a swik.


Swikly accepts all bank cards except:

  • American Express
  • Diners Club International
  • Visa Electron
  • Prepaid cards
  • Cards requiring systematic authorization

Unfortunately, these bank cards do not allow post-debit or online transactions, making them unsuitable for depositing a swik. WHAT HAPPENS TO MY USED GEAR?

At FRS, we are committed to promoting a circular economy and minimizing waste. If you decide not to purchase the product and choose to send us your old equipment in exchange for a new one, there are several options for its future. First, your old gear can be reintroduced into our system to continue its life cycle. Depending on its condition and age, we can offer it as a Phase 1 or Phase 2 product in our subscription service. This ensures that the equipment continues to be used and enjoyed by others, contributing to a more sustainable approach to water sports gear.

Alternatively, if the gear is no longer fit for use, we prioritize recycling.

By participating in our equipment exchange program, you not only access the latest gear but also contribute to environmental conservation and the promotion of circular economy principles.

 

DELIVERY

The standard procedure is to collect the board directly from our facilities at Calle Almansa 14 (Guanarteme neighborhood, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). If you would like us to ship it to you, we will inform you of the cost based on the shipping destination (within the Canary Islands only). You will be informed of your shipment status by email and will receive a tracking number. With this, you can check where your gear is at any time.

 

REPAIRS

At FRS we know that accidents happen, which is why we offer a seamless repair process for damaged equipment. If your gear suffers any damage, simply send it to us for repair. The cost of the repair will be determined based on your insurance coverage and the extent of the damage.

But here is where it gets even better: we won't leave you stranded while we repair your gear. Instead, we will immediately send you a replacement item, either new or already repaired, depending on your subscription tier.

This means you won't have to wait for your damaged gear to be repaired to get back in the water.

Our commitment to you is that our subscribers spend no more than 48 hours out of the water, ensuring that you can continue to enjoy your water adventures without unnecessary delays.

 

DISPUTES

In case of disagreement between FRS estimates and the application of penalties, it is always possible to discuss and clarify decisions to ensure compliance with the terms of use and the contract. Through effective communication, most conflicts can be resolved.

  • If disagreements or a lack of communication persist, SWIKLY will step in as a trusted third party to verify that both parties respect the terms.
  • Following arbitration by Swikly, payment will take place. Otherwise, SWIKLY will be authorized to use the deposit, incurring additional fees from SWIKLY.
  • At FRS, our intention is to have satisfied subscribers who feel inclined to renew and continue their subscriptions with us. Therefore, it is not in our interest to take advantage of the situation by overcharging for penalties and deposits.
  • We offer a new and innovative model that greatly benefits our customers. To maintain this model, it is essential that all parties adhere to the agreed rules with fairness and integrity.

 

PAYMENT PROCESS

The first fee will be paid by card, which can be done directly on the WEBSITE or at our facilities at Calle Almansa Nº 14 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Once completed, we will send you the link to make the deposit for the chosen board (SWIKLY) and information regarding the payment system via Bank Direct Debit (SEPA).


Please be advised that, in order to streamline the management of your subscriptions, the collection of subsequent fees will be carried out exclusively via direct debit.


This procedure complies with the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) regulations, guaranteeing maximum security and transparency in your transactions. To process payments, it is an indispensable requirement that the account holder authorizes the charge by signing a Direct Debit Order or SEPA Mandate.


How to complete the process?

  1. Document dispatch: You will receive the official document (SEPA Mandate) via email with our entity's details.
  2. Completion: You must fill in your personal details and account number (IBAN).
  3. Signature and return: The document must be signed by the account holder. Once signed, you must send it back to us (scanned via email or through our platform) to activate your subscription.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we guarantee that your banking details will be treated with absolute confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of collecting fees for the contracted services.
