INTERMEDIATE LEVEL SURF COURSE

With our INTERMEDIATE SURF COURSE of 2 hours a day you will start surfing green waves properly in the best beach breaks of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria city. This is a Intermediate Level surf course for surfers who, having done an Initiation Surf Course before, would like to start surfing small green waves with the help of a professional instructor.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Have completed an Initiation surf course of at least 12 lessons
• have surfed in the last 3 months
• Have the approval of one of our instructors
• Correct standing up technique
• Correct paddling technique
• To be able to paddle hard enough to catch waves independently
• Know how to sit on the board and turn 180º with agility
• Know how to correctly dodge waves and foams to get beyond the impact zone
• Know the basic rules of safety and coexistence in the water

CONDITIONS

• You must bring to classes your own swimming suit or bikini and towel
• 2 hours surf lessons in groups of up to 5 students per instructor
• A piece of fruit and a bottle of water are included
• Minimum age for group classes: 12 years
• The class will be taugh at "Playa de Las Canteras", preferebly in low tide at "Los Muellitos" surfspot
• Class times may vary depending on swell and tide conditions
• In case the sea conditions do not allow the class to be held in Las Canteras Beach, clients will be given the option to take the class in another nearby beach. Price transfer in Oceanside van: 5€ per person. (Minimum 2 people)
• Professional instructor with the national surf instructor title
• Material included: soft top surfboard, wetsuit (Quiksilver or Roxy) and school lycra
• Please arrive at school 20 minutes before the start of class
• If you arrive 10 minutes after the class has started, you will not be allowed to enter, and it will be marked as a taught class
• Use of facilities: changing room, showers and lockers
• Civil liability and accident insurance
