Description

The Oceanside Gran Canaria After-School Surf Course is a surf and bodyboard course conceived for students over 8 years old who want to introduce themselves in the world of surfing so that, in the not too distant future, they can practice this exciting activity by themselves. The classes will take place from Monday to Friday, in the afternoon, at Las Canteras Beach, La Cicer area.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

Individual outdoor activity at Las Canteras Beach.
Small groups of up to 7 students. (minimum 3 students to form a group)
All the surfing material is included although we recommend bringing your own wetsuit.
The classes will be given in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. (morning schedule to be consulted)
Facilities with showers and lockers at the beach.
Classes led by qualified instructors with extensive experience.
Proven teaching system.
Education in values through sport.
Sports planning for learning.
Board storage service (depending on availability) and free use of our school facilities throughout the month.

CONDITIONS:

Students must enroll this activity for at least 2 months.
To carry out this activity it is essential to know how to swim correctly.
You must inform the technicians if the student suffers from any illness, injury or other illness that could be relevant.
By signing the REGISTRATION FORM form you authorise your son/daughter to carry out this activity. You also authorize the technicians of our school to take the appropriate decisions in case of accident or illness. Oceanside undertakes to inform parents or tutors of what has happened as soon as possible.
If due to adverse weather conditions it is not possible to carry out the surfing activity, complementary activities on land will be carried out, such as SurfSkate.
Payment for the activity will be made by bank transfer between the 1st and 5th of each month. In the concept must indicate the name of the student. If the transfer has not been made before the 5th of each month, the student will not be able to attend classes that month.
If the student does not show up for a class, he/she will not have the right to make up the class another day, or another month, unless the absence is due to illness or injury. In this case, the student must present a medical justification. The class must be made up within 30 days. The school must be informed of the desired date as soon as possible. Once the availability of places has been checked, a confirmation email will be sent.
All official communications between parent/student and school will be made by email virginia@oceansidesurf.es.
Any communication made by other means (telephone, whatsapp...) will not be valid.
It is recommended for the student to have the FEDERATIVE SPORTS FORM granted by the Canarian Surfing Federation.
